When I was young, we’re talking back in the original Nintendo and Sega Genesis days one would play video games constant so much so that you got used to the soundtracks and theme music of the games that you wanted to hear something different and would usually play the radio at the time or you would pick out specific albums to listen to that were energetic, or had like certain beats and themes that kind of fit the action of the game and what you were looking for was kind of a soundtrack to your moves to a certain extent or at least your gameplay that helped you fall into more of a rhythm.

It would-be artists like Guns N’ Roses, Public Enemy, Prince. I’m not saying necessarily that this artist is on that same level of them as far as legend and greatness, but this definitely would have been an album. I would’ve put on playing a video game as it has that energy that’s infectious giving you that rhythm that makes you wanna move and keep going forward, it offers razzmatazz.

Definitely a rock album with electronic elements that’s danceable as it is full of themes.

That offers Blend of genres leaving a tapestry. He mentions race quite a few times as he is an oddity one that is slowly diminishing of having a black artist whose musical output leans more towards rock.

That at times comes across as a 2000’s Album in it’s sound and music that sounds more ready to be for a video game

The album is Likeable, but wished more songs stood out. As he even has an acoustic song that is a change of pace. but doesn’t quite achieve the depth it seems to aim for

The album feels like a scene and each song is a moment inside of that one scene.

Each song feels like a sketch of a story that you want to hear a bit more of, That has plenty of energy in them and seem to last. As most of them are long enough, but you find yourself wanting more as it goes by so fast

The album offers A little bit of everything.

Kind of like a A memoir of an individual’s youth especially their 20’s, only not offensive and some insights in the middle of some boastful chorus.
